Well.. If your game runs out of memory it says just that, End of stream isnt directly related to memory i believe, try creating a brand new world, if it doesnt give us that there, then it's this world, more specifically drews area it seems.

I think we should try the new worlds first though, you noticed that it lagged the most in the area around your home didn't you? If thats the problem we could create a new world (with the same seed even) and MCEdit stuff in..

We found the problem was a cluster of animals, I'm removing tonight. I would still follow this tutorial as it will increase performance and also consider java 7, a huge improvement for me

I just went on and it seemed fine :S no end of steam. Might just be lucky :/

The corrupted area is around Grand island it seems, might be cause of it being MCEdited in or something..
Hmm I bet your totally right, I could've easily imported a sheep that bugged out
